About
Anna Wielachowska’s abstract paintings are inspired by an exploration of form and shape, interwoven with philosophical themes. Drawing inspiration from the vastness of unknown and interdimensional space, the work carries a deep, immersive quality. Characterized by rich palettes, the canvases project a resonant, positive presence. It is an art of fascination, drawing the eye into a luminous and absorbing visual space.
She creates the painting by hand, layering tactile grounds that range from rich to subtle finishes. Then she introduces measured impasto, applications of metallic tones, or delicate bursts of pigment. The forms that emerge are designed to engage the viewer’s imagination and offer a contemplative focal point.
Painting from her studio in north-east Poland, she ensures every piece is distinct. These one-of-a-kind oil on canvas works feature finished, painted edges and are ready to hang without a frame.
